About These Scales
°RøRomer
The Romer scale was proposed by Ole Christensen Romer in 1701. On this scale, water freezes at 7.5Ro and boils at 60Ro. It was used as a basis for the Fahrenheit scale.
°DeDelisle
The Delisle scale is unusual because it runs in the opposite direction to other temperature scales. Water boils at 0De and freezes at 150De. It was invented by Joseph-Nicolas Delisle in 1732.
